Power Rangers Lost Galaxy: The Wrath of Trakeena (PRLG:TWOT, formerly titled "The Rise of Trakeena") is an upcoming Fan-Film to Anthony Marsh, Jr 's Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy Fan-Film series , based on the 7th Power Rangers season of the same name. As of late November 2014, it was originally confirmed to be a remake and final attempt of a previously proposed version of the film that never sought a release in 2011 thus this new version of the same film - with some plot elements altered and/or kept - will be part of Marsh's newly-established Lost Galaxy Fan-Series (since 2014), known as the Marsh-verse of Power Rangers and, like the first film, continues to serve as a re-imagining of the series.
It is the sequel to Marsh's first Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy Fan-Film from 2014, also taking part of Marsh's planned Trilogy of Fan-Films based on Lost Galaxy, a season of the long-running Power Rangers franchise. The film, as of 2016, has been renamed The Wrath of Trakeena due to the original title being in bore from the original film attempt of The Rise of Trakeena back from 2010-2012. Therefore with the new title, the title won't make the film sound as so seem to be an origin film of the character.
Like the first film, this film does not take place in the same continuity as the actual series, rather, it takes place in its own alternate continuity and universe excisely distancing itself from main Power Rangers continuity and original PRLG canon (while still set on the space colony of Terra Venture) with its own set of characters to be the Rangers and its different staff manning control of Terra Venture.
This version of this film will seek, for the first time in Marsh's reimagining of the series, after almost 5-6 years in casting hell that Lost Galaxy's main villainess Trakeena will likely finally make her character's debut into Marsh's PR Fan-Fic universe of films, after many actress/normal women turned him down on the part for the project in the past. The new film will not make any character or story refferences from Marsh's original version of it when it was once in production until its cancellation in July 2012, rather, it ignores those references in favor of something more up-to-date, whitle it would still focused on its lead villain.
It was announced that the fan film would incorperate certain story and series elements from the following 2 Super Sentai shows that have been skipped for adaptations of Power Rangers: Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and the more likely been skipped Ressha Sentai ToQger , while hybriding elements of Lost Galaxy's Sentai counterpart, Seijuu Sentai Gingaman. However, by it's post-production stages, elements of ToQger that were to be featured were dropped.
It was announced that the film would be released in 2019, to be on time to commemorate Power Rangers Lost Galaxy's 20th Anniversary. Unfortunately, due to possibility that a sequel to Saban's Power Rangers reboot film would be in 2019 (not to be in any competition), the fan film, as of 2017, has been pushed back a year for a release in 2018 on May 4. On March 1, 2018, the release date has been changed one final time for June 29, 2018, due to in fact the original release date was for Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.
This will be the first Power Rangers fan film to have a longer running time of 3 hours.
It is set 2 years after the first film, as the Rangers must deal with Trakeena (Marsh-Verse) from bringing Terra Venture into total anarchy, if not more into darkness in plight of the accusations made of the Red Ranger being responsible for killing her Emperor Scorpius (Marsh-Verse) of her Alien Insectiod army.

Before the release of Anthony Marsh, Jr's first Power Rangers Lost Galaxy fan-film, a sequel that would follow has been under wraps. Since Trakeena had been dropped from the first film, it would be possible (if Marsh would return and if the fan-film becomes a success on YouTube) she would be reintroduced for a future sequel. The character has been put on hold for a sequel. Before the first film would wrap production, he had already had in mind to start early development on a sequel. Marsh had announced early plans on a Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy 2 on his PRLostGalaxy2014 channel on YouTube in February 2014. The debate of his was 1.) if the Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy fan-film succeeds to recieve and fare well with fans, there would be a sequel to continue the story of his planned trilogy and 2.) If the Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy fan-film bombs and meets a strong negative reaction, the sequels would then be scrapped and Marsh would have to move on to something else. The film would mainly be based in portrayal from the different and alternate story perspective of Trakeena, as it would focus on how did she even got to know of the Power Rangers and which caused her to have a grudge against them and the film will secretly go deeper into what made Trakeena so evil and why is she that way. That idea was scrapped during the production process when filming took place between November 2015 until its conclusion on June 3, 2017.
Another abandoned premise for the film was that it would be set 5-years after the first film, as the Power Rangers have been out of commission from saving Terra Venture from the attacks of Lord Metarex and his false Zion Empire army. Tony Marshall (the Marsh-Verse's Red Galaxy Ranger) is beginning to find his responsibilities as a leader and his duties as a Power Ranger increasingly difficult, as he must reconnect himself with his team after his absence from off the face of Terra Venture for a couple of years. In the meantime, he will then ends up in a strained, but unneccessary and unwanted affair with one of Terra Venture's new female staff members, who would then later refuse to end their relationship resulting this female individual to then stalk, manipulate and blackmail Tony. Following Tony's many rejections to her, she then would assume herself as the Galaxy Rangers' enemy, Trakeena, the Queen heir to her Scorpius (Marsh-Verse) 's throne, in order to dominate and put an end to the Power Rangers' legacy, with Tony as her prime target of ridding him from the existance of the colony as she also seeks much revenge against him for destroying Scorpius (much like what the original of the latter did to Leo did in the TV series). With Trakeena's plan coming in full motion, she will bring on a new world order to take over Terra Venture and to make its inhabitants her slaves.
